2 times BEST IN SHOW!!!

We just got back from a two day International All Breed Show in Lausanne Switserland. We went to get an IB for Dakota his International Champion title, but my gorgeous boy had other plans.

Day one we won the Champion Class and went BOB, so we were thrilled!

Then we went for the Group judging and Dakota won the Group!!! Then we went for the Best In Show judging and he won BEST IN SHOW!!! They had to call us two times, cause I couldn't believe it was really us that won BIS! He won BIS over 1727 dogs!

After the show we celebrated and drank wine and our trip a great success.

Well Dakota thought the second day also should be special, since this was a two day show. So again he took BOB, again he won the Group and again he took BEST IN SHOW, this time over 1764 dogs!!!

I think we wrote history for a Saint Bernard winning Best In Show two days in a row under 6 different judges. And not only that but in an all breed show in the country of origin.

At the first day Bentley won Winners dog and CAC and Cosmo excellent 1 and Junior CAC (judge mr. Gavril Cenadan). And at the second day Bentley won Best of breed and cac/ib and title Transilvanian Winner 2006 and Cosmo Best junior and junior cac AND Best in Show Junior!!! Judge was mr. Roberto Schill.

A lot of people know Trudy Minnaard you can see her at almost every dog show. Working in the ring or busy with other things concerning the show. And always with a friendly smile with a nice word for everyone.

She also gives show training for KC de Hofstad for many years now and most of our StripPoker's dogs learned how the behave in the ring at Trudy's show class!!!! Some times you meet an remarkable dog!

Yesterday at the toy dog specialty in Wijchen, the Netherlands, I had the pleasure to judge Maltese, Coton De Tulear and Bolognese.In open class Maltese there was a boy who impressed me the moment he entered the ring. I learned he was almost 10 years old and that made me even more impressed by him. He became my BEST OF BREED. The name of this lovely boy is multi Ch. Paper Man Mary Evan, breeder: A. Niedezchieb and owner Monika Kupcivoa. Later on we discovered  that he is a champion in:

Russia,Austria,Hongary,Poland, luxembourg,Croatia,Germany,Slovakia, Yugoslavia,Romania,Bosnia,Maldova,Malta,Bulgaria,Cyprus,Slovenia,Estonia, Marcedonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Bellorusia, Israel, Sweden Danmark, Greece, Switzerland, Baltic ch. & Nordic Ch.
